And I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who shall do according to what it is in my heart and mind. And I will build him a sure house, and he shall go in and out before my anointed forever. 1 Samuel 2:35 (ESV)
[DONATE]
Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.
-- Fredrick Douglas
Social Justice - the conscience of the people intermingling with the liberating power of Jesus Christ to cultivate reconciliation and harmony throughout our beloved communities.
We as the ecclesia are mandated to speak to the masses in regard to the social injustices that continue to infiltrate our households, communities and churches. We must collectively gather our mindsets and consciences towards the advancement of the Kingdom of God a kingdom described by Christ as having suffered violently.
Therefore must become prophets of justice in the sanctuary and the street by speaking truth to power as it relates to sociopolitical and economic issues in our communities. We cannot allow this time in history pass us by without the chronicles of antiquity stating the United Covenant Churches of Christ was indeed a voice in the wilderness.
We will discuss and engage in direct social action in cities across the world that need assistance in fighting injustices and staging formalized rallies and protests. We will address the distribution of local resources to local assemblies and demonstrate how churches can pursue funding in order to combat the ills of the community in which the church resides.
Join us as we continue to blow the trumpet of justice from the outhouse to the White House; from the guttermost to the uttermost; from the park bench to Park Avenue; and from the valley to the mountaintop.

Bishop Leon Wilson, Executive Director
To all churches of UCCC we are encouraged by your interest and compassion in the area of Social Justice. We strongly suggest that you continue to be the "Balm In Gilead" in your beloved communities by offering much needed services to the people.
If this is a portion of your vision you must do a few things to position yourself to be of service:
1. Make sure you have established a Non Profit Corporation that is not your church and the name does not include any direct reference to religion (i.e. God's Community Center)
2. Narrow your scope of service you wish to provide down to two prospects.
3. Identify the target population you hope to serve.
4. Arrange a think tank session with your leaders and myself to create a strategy for implementation.
5. Please identify the names of local, and state agencies that may have resources to be granted to your organization.

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than
dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psalm 84:10 (ESV)
We, the ushers of the United Covenant Churches of Christ, are honored and privileged to serve as doorkeepers in the House of God. Our aim is to ensure that each person is greeted with great warmth, respect, and hospitality. To carry out our responsibilities effectively and in the spirit of excellence we are committed to the following ideals:
We will conduct ourselves in a manner which represents Christ our Lord and Savior
and Him only will we glorify.
We will assist the parishioners by welcoming them into the worship experience and doing our best to accommodate any special needs they may have.
We will govern the sanctuary of the Lords House and maintain order as we are directed.
We will put our flesh under the subjection of the Holy Ghost and stand firm in the spirit of holiness.
We will be approachable and accessible to the worshippers.
We will not only lead the worshipper to their seat, but spiritually we will lead them into the beauty of the worship service.
We will extend professional courtesy to every worshipper.
We will represent Christ at all times as our ultimate Leader.
The psalmist wrote Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.
The Ushers Ministry is seeking men, women, and youth who desire to help serve the people of God.
If you are interested, please send us an email at ushers_unitedcovenantchurches.com that includes your first and last name, day and evening phone number, the name of your church, and the name of your senior pastor.
